Curation Space

The area with cleared shelves in the second floor library stacks will be enclosed as the new archaeological curation facility.

The first phase of construction will create an approximately 4000 square foot long-term curation space by enclosing a portion of the second floor library stacks. The existing shelving will initially be utilized for artifact storage; it will gradually be replaced by shelving that can maximize the effective use of the space.
