Reading Room

The area shown here will be enclosed as the reading room and exhibition space in our new facility.

When finished, our new reading room will be a space where researchers can access our archaeological collections, and where the public can see the results from over 50 years of archaeology in the City of New Orleans. Built-in exhibition cases (which will run between the columns seen on the right of this photo) will feature both student-curated displays and some of the most important individual items from our collections.
