A collection of artifacts was recovered from the fill of Burial #16 that seemed to be linked functionally, and it is very likely they were components of a bundle worn on the person.  This is supported by the presence of an oblong ferrous loop buckle, likely used on a simple strap worn around the body or connected on a strap holding a small satchel or bundle closed.  The items that would have been held in this bag were scattered throughout the interior fill; as in all of the burials occurring below the water table, lighter items and small fragments of bone appeared to have been moved around by the action of water in the coffin.
